What fabric works best?

I recommend using stretch fabrics with a soft and fluid drape such as scuba crepe, ponte knit, jersey knit, matte jersey, stretch crepe, or rayon spandex blends. These fabrics help create the smooth fitted silhouette while allowing the flare sleeves and draped bust detail to fall beautifully.
