I recommend using lightweight woven fabrics such as rayon, viscose, cotton voile, lightweight linen, crepe, chiffon, seersucker, or lightweight cotton blends. These fabrics help create soft draping and beautiful movement in the ruffles while keeping the skirt airy and comfortable.
